Stree 2 continues to dominate the box office, with a significant surge in earnings on its third Sunday. On Day 17, the Amar Kaushik-directed horror-comedy raked in ₹16 crore in the domestic market, according to Sacnilk. This impressive performance has pushed the film’s total collection past the ₹450 crore mark, reaching ₹458.15 crore. The movie, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, also features performances by Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Vijay Raaz, with cameo appearances by Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar. Despite competition from Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh’s Vedaa, Stree 2 has maintained its stronghold at the box office.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the Day 16 box office figures on X (formerly Twitter), noting that the film continues to perform strongly in its third weekend. On the third Friday, the movie earned ₹9.25 crore, up from ₹9.10 crore on the second Thursday, with multiplexes showing notable growth. Adarsh predicts even bigger numbers for the third Saturday and Sunday, with the total collection now standing at ₹462.85 crore in India.
